COMMUNITY GARDEN

Welcome to Franklin Farm’s 2017 Growing and Giving Season!

Thank You for An Incredible Season Of Giving!
This Year We Grew 27,888 pounds of vegetables!

One in Five Rhode Islanders experience food insecurities every day!  Twelve years ago, Franklin Farm became part of a network the RI Community Food Bank- Community Gardens.  It was our first mission as an organization:  Grow farm fresh vegetables for those experiencing food insecurities .  We are now the largest producer of farm fresh, locally and naturally grown vegetables for the RI Community Bank.

The Franklin Farm Community Garden is run entirely by volunteers, like you! All ages are encouraged to come to the garden on our Tending Nights to help perform a number of tasks. From taking care of the plants to loading the vegetables for delivery, our easy volunteer days and times allow for you to enjoy the summer months and help others!
